Founder of Rising Roots Psychotherapy
I'm Andrea — a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist (Qualifying), licensed with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Through Rising Roots Psychotherapy, I support women navigating the deeply layered emotional realities of motherhood, identity, trauma, relationship issues and self-worth — including those who are unsure if motherhood is for them, those who are already in it, and those longing for it amidst uncertainty.
My practice is rooted in the belief that healing begins when we feel safe enough to tell the truth — especially the parts that are messy, confusing, or taboo.
My own journey has been shaped by living with a chronic health condition, which has profoundly impacted my relationship with my body and sense of self. This experience added weight to every decision, especially deciding whether, when, and how to become a mother. I’ve experienced the emotional intensity and isolation of the fertility process — the grief, the fear, and the quiet ache of preparing your mind, body, and heart for something you want so badly… while also fearing it may never come.
These experiences live at the core of my work. They allow me to hold space for the often-invisible struggles that many women carry: postpartum mental health challenges, shifting identity, body image distress, relational trauma, perfectionism, and the quiet pain of questioning your role as a mother — before or after it begins.
Using a trauma-informed and integrative approach, I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy, DBT, Mindfulness, Gestalt, ACT, Narrative Therapy, and inner child work. My goal is to support you in reconnecting with your inner wisdom, healing longstanding wounds, and gently coming home to yourself — however your path unfolds.
You don’t need to perform wholeness here. There is space for all of you — the hopeful, the hurting, the unsure, the healing.

Registered Social Worker
Becoming a mother is life-changing—and it can also be overwhelming. Many new moms experience postpartum anxiety or depression, struggle with mom guilt, feel constant worry, loneliness, or the effects of sleep deprivation. You may love your baby deeply and still feel exhausted, stressed, or unsure if you’re “doing it right.” You are not alone—and you don’t have to navigate this journey by yourself.
I’m Stephanie Fallone, a Registered Social Worker with years of experience supporting women through the perinatal period. Drawing on my own postpartum experience, I provide compassionate, practical support to help you navigate the emotional, physical, and relational changes of early motherhood. Together, we can address challenges like anxiety, low mood, perfectionism, burnout, body image struggles, and the unique pressures of being a mom.
My approach is warm, individualized, and collaborative. I combine evidence-based strategies with empathy and understanding to help you feel more grounded, restore balance, and reconnect with what matters most to you. I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction to fit your unique needs.
If you’re ready to find support, regain clarity, and nurture your well-being, I invite you to book a free 15-minute consultation today. Let’s walk this journey together.
